About Myself
Who Am I?
Hi, I'm Suyog Gunjal. Nice to meet you!
I'm a Software Engineering Leader, Technologist,
Lifelong Learner, and Mentor who believes that curiosity,
discipline, and continuous improvement can turn ordinary
beginnings into extraordinary possibilities.
Originally from Sangamner, Maharashtra, India,
I now live in Columbus, Indiana, United States.
I'm a proud alumnus of Fergusson College, Pune,
where I completed my Master's in Computer Science.
My professional journey began with a passion for programming
and mobile application development. Over the years, that
curiosity has taken me beyond writing code into
Automotive Diagnostics, Embedded Systems, C++,
Android, iOS, Internet of Things (IoT), Software Architecture,
Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence.
Today, I work as a
Guidanz Technical Leader in Software Engineering
at Cummins Inc., contributing to next-generation
digital service tools and automotive diagnostic technologies.
My responsibilities span technical strategy, software
architecture, engineering excellence, cross-functional
collaboration, and mentoring development teams.
While technology remains my profession,
learning has always been my greatest passion.
I enjoy exploring emerging technologies, experimenting with
new ideas, building practical solutions, and sharing knowledge
through technical workshops, mentoring, and community initiatives.
I believe that great engineering is not just about
writing great code. It's about solving meaningful problems,
building reliable systems, empowering people, and creating
lasting value.
Beyond my professional life, I'm passionate about education
and creating opportunities for students, particularly those
from small towns and rural communities. Having experienced
the impact of great teachers, mentors, and family support
firsthand, I believe in giving back and helping others
discover their potential.
Outside work, I enjoy sports, traveling, photography,
gardening, music, spending time with family, and
exploring new ideas. I also love experimenting with
technology simply for the joy of learning something new.
My personal philosophy is reflected in my autobiography,
The Psychic Within —
Discovering Potential. Defining Purpose.
Building a Legacy.
For me, success isn't defined by a job title, a company,
or a geographical destination. It's defined by how much
we grow, what we create, and the positive impact
we leave on others.
Still Learning. Still Growing. Still Becoming.
